As your road trip adds up with today’s petrol prices, we hope to make it more affordable by offering our customers an 8 cent per liter savings when you fill up your rental car.
Can you tell me how the fuel discount works?
The process is very simple! All of our keys come with a barcoded key tag, so if you stop at a Mobil fuel station and pay at the pump, scan the key tag before you refuel. Alternatively, if you want to pay inside the store, fill up the vehicle with fuel and present the key tag to the staff before payment and you will receive a discount.
Can you tell me where the Mobil stations are located?
The majority of Mobil stations in New Zealand are open 24 hours a day, from the top of the North Island to the bottom of the South Island. You can find a Mobil station near you when renting a car here. Shore Rentals is conveniently located next to Mobil in Takapuna. Before returning your car, keep this information handy for refuelling.
What are the terms and conditions?
- Rental vehicle customers must scan the key tag when filling up at Mobil service stations to receive the discount off the fuel purchase.
- Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other discounts or promotions.
- Each key tag has a maximum transaction limit of 100 litres and two transactions a day.
